well my west ham cake was a success came out really well, my ex's sister  and her husband seemed very pleased with it., I have also since done a two tier, leopard print cake with a pink bow on top, have yet to hear what my friend thinks of it, as she hasnt seen the photos of it yet , her husband is picking it up tonight, I am a bit nervous about this one as I am no artist and I painted the leopard print pattern on the cake by hand, and having never done anything like that before am wondering if it looks ok.  In hindsight I think if I did another one, I would make the main icing that covers the cake a very pale pink then do the pink and black leopard print on it rather than leaving it white.  But its all done now, so cant change it now....  Got my sons and my ex's cousins little boys cake to do for the 19th sept, am looking forward to doing them.

I am a full time mum to four sons, aged 3, 9, 14 and 17. My husband works full time and I wanted to find something I could do at home, so I am still here for the kids when they need me (which is usually only to make their meals or iron their clothes!) I live in the Medway Towns in Kent, and have found making cakes to be very enjoyable, I have had a lot of good feedback so far.  I spent ages reading up on various websites on how to do different things before I started, I have found them to be very helpful and so wanted to create one myself, hopefully it will be just as successful. .x
